Equus (1977)
A riveting move where the great Richard Burton gives the performance of his life. Burton plays a psychiatrist charged with trying to learn what why a shy, unassuming 17-year-old stable hand went on a rampage and blinded seven horses one night. His devastated his parents, the horse owner and potential girlfriend a horrified at what demons lurk beneath such a violent act. Directed by Sidney Lumet, based on the novel by Peter Shaffer. This is unrated VHS due to an extended full front nude scene. Burton was nominated for an Oscar.
