The story of T.E. Lawrence, the young Brit who united the bickering Arab tribes against the Turks in World War 1. This is a two-cassette set in VHS, as director David Lean intended: blank screen during the overture, intermission, plus restored footage and more than 100 minutes of old and new documentaries about the making of Lawrence of Arabia, one of the most beautifully filmed and scored epic stories of the last century. The only way to appreciate the cinematography, other than in a theatre, is through widescreen format. This is a limited edition put out by Columbia, RCA pictures. This from my private collection.
Peter O'Toole, Omar Sharif, Alec Guiness and Anthony Quinn star, with O'Toole giving a break-through performance and the first of many Oscar nominations. The cassette is heavy and shipping is $5 USPS priority mail in the U.S. PLEASE INQUIRE for shipping outside the U.S. The VHS comes with original limited edition slip cover that has some shelf wear, but otherwise plays great and is cared for lovingly.
