NEW WWF WWE WRESTLING VHS BEFORE THEY WERE WWE SUPERSTARS 2

You are buying a BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED VHS video, Before They Were WWE Superstars 2.

Following up on the successful Before They Were WWF (World Wrestling Federation) Superstars, this tape follows a different group of superstars, tracing their road to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). In this installment the WWE takes us into the lives of Tazz, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Chris Nowinski, Al Snow, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Torrie Wilson, Rob Van Dam and future UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar.

We start of with future Ultimate Fighting Championship star Brock Lesnar, who discusses competing in high school and collegiate wrestling, eventually becoming an NCAA Champion.

Next, Taz discusses his early life growing up in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, New York and playing football prior to training as a wrestler and joining ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling, the original ECW!) under Paul Heyman.

Then, the Champ is here as we go and take a look at John Cena. Contrary to the squeaky clean image he portrays on WWE television, John's family claims he was "a handful" growing up. Cena apparently didn't take college any more serious than his childhood. Finally Cena found something he was interested in, but it wasn't wrestling. That would come later. His first love was bodybuilding. Eventually, as several bodybuilders have done before, he made the transition to pro wrestling.

Although he may consier himself the show-stopper, he ended up in the mid-card of the video, but of all the wrestlers profiled, it's Shawn who has had possibly the longest road to WWE, from his early days in the AWA (American wrestling Association) to his first tour in the WWF, teaming with Marty Jannetty as the Midnight Rockers (eventually trimmed to The Rockers), getting fired, and then re-hired by the WWF.

Al Snow is probably the wrestler with the longest road to superstardom, discussing his early training, and his failed WWF gimmicks of "Avatar" and "Shinobi" (among others), before being loaned out to ECW, where Paul Heyman would give him the idea that would make his career - giving him "Head".

Chris Jericho is another wrestler who has had a long road to superstardom, growing up the son of a famous hockey player (Ted Irvine), but finding his calling in wrestling, competing in Canada, as well as Japan and Mexico before making his mark in the original ECW, like Snow & Taz, finally moving on to the WWF after some time in WCW (World Championship Wrestling). One of Jericho's career highlights is becoming the first WWE Undisputed Champion at the first Vengeance card. Jericho also balances his musical career as lead singer of Fozzy.

RVD, Rob Van Dam talks about his time in ECW after training under the original Sheik in Detroit, and some early footage of Van Dam shows his acrobatic ability.

A life in WWE was all but pre-destined for Randy Orton, a third generation wrestler. His father is Roddy Piper's old bodyguard, "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton, and his grandfather is Bob Orton, Sr.

"Harvard" Chris Nowinski is the most unusual person to get into WWE, as there are few Harvard graduates in professional wrestling, but Chris was a lifelong fan. His parents were shocked at Chris' choice, but accepted it, and Chris' rise from "Tough Enough" (he lost to Maven) to competing in independent promotions to finally achieving his goal of wrestling in WWE.

Torrie Wilson's parents admit that it is sometimes tough to see Torrie on TV in some of the costumes WWE has her wearing, but at the same time, they have a great deal of pride for what she has accomplished. In an unusual moment for a WWE release, Torrie discusses having an eating disorder when she was younger, and how it affects her today.

These are just some of the stories shared on this great WWE release.
