NEW WWF WWE WRESTLING VHS BEFORE THEY WERE WWF SUPERSTARS

You are buying a BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED World Wrestling Federation VHS video, Before They Were WWF Superstars.

Produced in 2002, shortly before the name change to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), this tape documents the careers of several WWF wrestlers prior to their time in the WWF.

Featured superstars are:

  • Kurt Angle, who appears with members of his family and discusses childhood and his amateur and Olympic wrestling career.

  • Molly Holly, in her "superhero" gimmick as "Mighty" Molly discusses her gymnastics background, her love for classic cars and how she broke into wrestling working on the independent circuit as Starla Saxton and moving on to WCW (World Championship Wrestling), where she competed as Miss Madness, Mona.

  • Bradshaw: Bradshaw talks about his football career and the many years he spent touring through Japan, Europe, Mexico as well as the independent circuit (most notably Global Wrestling Federation, where he competed as John Hawk), and overcoming various injuries before making it to the WWF.

  • Spike Dudley: Spike and his family talk about Spike's childhood love for wrestling. Plenty of cool video footage of Spike as a baby swimming, as a teen playing football and finally working the independent circuit, prior to joining ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling).

  • Stacy Keibler: Everyone knows about Stacy's time in WCW, and how she was originally a Nitro Girl, but most people have never previously spoke of Stacy's life as a professional dancer and Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, before being selected as a Nitro Girl.

  • Billy Gunn: Billy's first gimmick as a cowboy as a member of The Smoking Gunns was close to home for Gunn, as he was formerly a pro rodeo cowboy prior to being a professional wrestler. Gunn discusses the similarities between the two sports, and his early WWF days as one-half of the Smoking Gunns are shown.

  • William Regal: For the WWF Commissioner, we travel to England, where Regal talks about his early days as a hooker in the old travelling carnival circuit, challenging people from the audience. Later, as the carnivals began to go away, Regal trained as a pro wrestler, where he wrestled for WCW as Lord Steven Regal prior to his early stint in the WWF as "A Real Man's Man" before finally returning to his Blue Blood roots in the WWF his second time around.

  • Matt and Jeff, the Hardy Boyz: Matt and Jeff's story has been well-documented over the years, as the Hardy's discuss their early life, growing up in a single-parent household, having to deal with the passing of their mother early on, and their backyard wrestling, complete with video clips of some of the Hardy's early characters, to finally reaching the WWF, as undercard talent on Sunday Night HEAT prior to finally hitting it big.

  • Lita: Lita covers much of the ground that her own tape dealt with, such as her lifelong love of the athletic and acrobatic style of the Lucha Libre wrestling in Mexico, and showing her collection of masks, and how she intially trained across the border in Mexico, before hooking up with the Hardy Boys' North Carolina OMEGA backyard wrestling promotion, until finally working in ECW before arriving in the WWF. Lita certainly has a different look than most of the women in the WWF, not to mention a different in-ring style.

  • Edge and Christian were childhood friends and wrestling fans. Edge was even voted "Most Likely To Be WWF Champion", something that would eventually come true for Edge. These two friends would train individually, but break into the sport together in Canada before heading to the WWF.
