This lovely Wedgwood Edme creamware plate features the Borrowdale pattern. I believe it dates from the early 1970s.
On the bottom, it says "Borrowdale U.S.A. Des Patent 61.296 Wedgwood Edme Made in England U.S.A. Des. Patent 61298". It is also hand marked "HK9659" and has an impressed "Wedgwood Made In England" and another impressed mark I can't make out.
The plate measures approximately 8 1/4 inches in diameter and 5/8 inches high at its slightly raised edge. There is some light crazing. No chips, cracks or other issues.
The rim has a wonderfully detailed design, and the pattern is a flower basket filled with blooms in shades of blue, yellow, cranberry, and lavender with green leaves, all on a cream background. There is a lovely high glaze. The colors are still vivid and unfaded. I would consider this piece to be in mint condition.
