This cute, tiny, vintage souvenir child's cup and saucer set is from a well-loved collection of travel souvenirs. It is a miniature porcelain cup and saucer.
The cup has a scalloped and gold gilt trimmed rim and handle and says "Florida" in gold lettering. It measures 2 3/16 inches wide including the handle and 1 inch high.
The saucer also has a scalloped and gold gilt trimmed rim. There is a full-color picture of orange blossoms and oranges surrounded by a gilt gold scroll design. It says "Florida" in green lettering. It measures 3 3/16 inches in diameter. There is a line in the glaze about 5/16 inches long at about 7 o'clock which appears to be a manufacturing irregularity. On the bottom is the original "Made In Japan" sticker, but half of it is worn away.
There is a very tiny bit of wear tyo the gold gilt trim to be expected in pieces of this age. No chips, cracks, or other issues. The colors are vivid and unfaded there is a nice high glaze. I would consider this beautiful set to be in mint condition.
