to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Queen Mother
 

This scalloped gold rimmed plate is decorated with the official Centenary portrait,
approved by Buckingham Palace,
of Queen Elizabeth,The Queen Mother set into garlands
of the British national floral emblems: roses & thistles, a blue ribbon and a crown

Dimensions: 8 1/4 inches in diameter

The base is backstamped "Sheltonian China"
English Bone China
And is incribed:

"To Commemorate 100th Birthday of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth
The Queen Mother
4th August 2000"

Beneath a miniature color portrait of Her Majesty

This plate is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
