Miniature Tea Pot Issued in 2000
to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Queen Mother
 

This gilt rimmed Teapot is decorated with
the official Centenary portrait, approved by Buckingham Palace,
of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother
set into garlands of the British national floral emblems:
roses & thistles, a blue ribbon and a crown

This image is repeated in miniature on the lid & rear of the pot

The lid is inscribed:

"100th Birthday of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth
The Queen Mother"


Dimensions: 4 1/8 inches by 2 3/4 inches and 3 1/8 inches tall

The base is backstamped:
"Sheltonian China
English
Bone China"


This piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
