Offered today from my personal collection of high end vintage knives is a very rare and beautiful Hibbard Spencer & Bartlett Co. Lobster knife. Handles are a beautiful cracked ice celluloid and in perfect condition. Tip bolsters and pins are nickel silver. Main blade is in very good shape with slight sharpening and a couple of stains. A tiny chip out of blade near tip could easily be sharpened out. Blade is marked at tang HIBBARD over SPENCER over BARTLETTE over & CO. Large blade has some snap closing but is stiff opening. Manicure blade is unmarked and opens and closes a bit stiffly. This company was in business from 1855-1960, and I estimate this knife to be from the 1920`s to 1930`s as this type of Lobster knife was very popular then. A very neat rare old knife offered at a very fair price, so don`t miss out! This would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
