We are selling a copy of "John Payne and the Message at Hawk's Nest," by Kathryn Heisenfelt, illus. Henry E. Vallely. This Whitman edition has a 1943 copyright date and no. 2385 on the spine cover. John Payne was a popular actor back in the 40's, there is a picture of him on the cover, and this adventure features him. This has a paper jacket, which is in fair shape. There are tears and wear, small chips missing, etc. Book cover is in good shape, wear on corners, otherwise good. Pages are yellow. Tear on the first page before the title page, otherwise pages are clean. Book will weigh about 13 oz. when packaged for mailing. Postage is included for US buyers (we use media or first class rate, cheapest of those two). Buyers outside of the US should contact us for amount of additional postage needed to your country. This amount would be paid by buyers. Buyers outside of the US should be prepared to pay with Paypal. Payment is expected within 10 days.
