This ACEO print is from my original watercolor titled "Blue Skies & The Good Fortune Pug."
Most of my prints come with a small story, written at the time the original artwork is created. This is printed on the backs of the cards, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed and hand numbered. This is #4 and is an open edtion.
The story for this artwork reads: "Pictured is the Good Fortune Pug aptly named because his best pal is his very own Maneki Neko Lucky Calico Kitten, who is holding both arms up for an extra all around good time. The two are floating skyward atop their golden pillow and enjoying a golden Yin Yang balloon as they rise."
This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors.
This card was printed with a color laser printer on acid free cover stock. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
