The book looks to be extremely informative, and well written. There are some, but not many color photos, and a lot of illustrations in the book. The back of the book cover says ‘A comprehensive guide to planning, constructing, and planting a patio garden. This practical book covers everything you need to know to create a successful patio, from making a plan, through laying paving, building walls, incorporating pools and other features, to planting schemes and container gardening. It also provides patio plans for a wide range of garden styles, shapes and sizes. Wide variety of imaginative designs and planting suggestions. Detailed guidance on furnishing and lighting a patio. How to build barbeques and decorative features.’ This seems like an interesting, unusual and informative book, and would be great for someone who is interested in creating their own custom patio outdoors.
