Racine WI: Whitman Publishing (Copyright 1936, 1937) in conjunction with NY: King Features Syndicate Inc. A BIG LITTLE BOOK #1407. Measures approximately 4"x5"x2.5". 424 Pages + Ads. Profusely illustrated. Spine is Good but has come unglued due to age near middle of book causing binding looseness and separation of the book into 2 tight pieces as per photos. The pages are Good+/Very Good with general age-toning. The first page has been creased slightly. There are slight cover bumps and rubbing but no sizeable rips or marks and no missing pages. All text is clearly legible. There is a very small (appx. 1"x1/4") former price written on 1st blank page, apparently in black crayon. [REPAIR NOTE: The re-gluing or other repair to the binding looseness can be achieved without overall re-binding. An economical binding repair kit is available at www.ShopBrodart.com].
