Klip dagga (L. Nepetifolia), also known as Lion's Ear, is cloesly related to wild dagga (L. Leonurus). Both are similar in that they have gorgeous bright orange flower clusters and are used similarly as smudging incenses. Klip dagga is one of several herbs traditionally used by the Xhosa tribe of South Africa. It contains the alkaloid, leonurine.
Our product is contains only the flower petals, which have been acquired through the time-consuming task of handpicking. Reports suggest that this is the most potent part of the plant. Most other products on the market will contain other parts of the plant.
