This is a tin proof for the lid of the 1994 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup 12 oz candy tin. This tin has a crackle type look.

Tins by their very nature can have minor flaws. Small scratches, dust or small bubbles in the ink, tiny dings, minor rust, etc. If you'd like to know if the tin proof you'd like to purchase has any flaws ask me before purchasing and I'll shoot a close up pic of any flaw before you purchase it. Since you can't buy these tin proofs anywhere else except through me, even with minor flaws they are still highly collectible.

These look really nice framed. Look in my store for some of my other tin proofs that I have to offer, some of which are framed to get an idea of what these tins can look like when framed.

I'm willing to negotiate offers on multiple tin proof purchases.

When I still had my brick and mortar gallery/frame shop back in Pennsylvania I used to frame hundreds of tins for the packaging manufacturer that made them (J.L.Clark). Then they would give the framed tin proofs back, as thank you gifts, to the companies that gave them the contracts to make the packaging.
Companies like Nabisco, Hershey, Wolfgang, Crayola, McCormick, Wrigley, etc., etc.

I have extra tin proofs in stock for all of the one's I framed.

I have several years of the Oreo tins framed as well as Milk Bone Dog Biscuits, Stella D'oro Cookies, and others.
Before a tin is formed and made into what you see on the store shelves it is printed flat as a proof. The customer would be called in to approve or disapprove the way the tins would look. It's the proofs that I would frame for J.L. Clark. Sometimes I'd frame just the lids, sometimes the body of the tin, sometimes both.

I've been an art dealer and a professional picture framer for 21+ years, and I’m a retired Professional Photographer so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Email me your Zip Code for S&H costs if you'd like to know a total before you buy. I ship by USPS Priority. If you would prefer a different shipping method please let me know.
