Here is a cute, individual teapot MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN, post-WWII era. It seems to be porcelain, and has a nice sheen. There is a raised honeycomb pattern with raised vines and leaves over it, the handle and spout are like bamboo, and there is a cute little bee, or possibly a water-bug, on it !! There is a logo on the bottom...a U-shape over a donut-shape, and it is marked MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN. There is no lid, but it is quite perfect by itself. There are no chips or cracks, there is some fine crackling of the glaze at the inside bottom, from use. The base of the spout inside is pierced with 7 holes, to strain out the loose tealeaves. I have had this for many years and never seen anything of the same pattern, it is very unique !
