Quilts by Judie
About: creeksidequilts
I am a retired quiltmaker. I made over a 1000 quilts in about 15 years. I broke my wrist, had surgery and even with a metal plate, 7 screws and 4 pins I am still unable to have full use of my hand which suffered severe nerve damage. What I am selling is what is left of the inventory from Quilts by Judie.
Each and every quilt was made by me in it's entirety. From the very beginning of selecting fabrics to designing the quilt, using traditional patterns, to piecing the blocks to sewing the quilt together, to quilting the quilt, adding the binding and finally, making an embroidered label for the back. All done by me.
I'm also an avid cross stitcher and have been stitching for almost 40 years. I decided about a year ago to downsize my collection of cross stitch magazines and patterns, a collection since the early 80's, and donated all to the the local quilt and needlework center. Moving forward, rather than keeping the patterns that I've finished I'll try to offer them here so others can enjoy stitching them.
Thanks for taking the time to look through what I have to offer and for appreciating homemade quality.
