Are these fog lights original equipment manufactured? No, these fog lights are manufactured by BlingLights. Many of our customers are able to install our fog light kit in a period of approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours. More involved installations may require drilling to position the lights where you want them. This kit includes mounting brackets that mount independently of the factory mounting points. If you have plastic inserts currently covering your fog light holes then you will have to remove those to install this kit, which is required of any fog light kit installation. The end result will be a clean look if done with care. For those uncomfortable with the install, have the kit professionally installed at a local car stereo shop.
Will this kit fit my vehicle listed in the page title? BlingLights has conducted extensive research and have sold hundreds of kits to customers with your same vehicle, with no fitment issues. Lamps are intended for installation within the factory fog lamp openings for vehicles without optional fog lights or as a direct upgrade replacement for the factory fog lights. Can I hook the lights up to my factory light switch instead of the included switch? Of course, just run the wire to the factory switch instead of the included switch. The included switch can also be substituted with other switches available through BlingLights.
What types of bulbs come with this kit? Two powerful, genuine BlingLights H3 bulbs with an output of 70 watts a piece, 140 watts total! These bulbs are designed for maximum output and durability. The bulbs generally last many years without the need for replacement. There is a good chance the bulbs will outlast the life of the vehicle. H3 replacement bulbs are a common size bulb and can be purchased through us or anywhere else automotive bulbs are sold. The Ultra-Bright Blue Halo Ringsî use LEDs. LEDs don't burn out and never need replacing.

A solid 5 stars for pretty cool after-market fog lights. I had these lights in my wish list for at least six months before I finally decided to purchase them after my OEM fog lights had failed once again for the umpteenth time:-( Let me first say that for the price these lights are a really nice upgrade addition to my 2006 Denali XL.:-) So let's talk a little bit about the product and my likes:
PRICE: As I stated earlier, at $199 the price was quite reasonable in my book and the kit came with nearly everything i needed to completely install the product. The only thing I added were zip ties which I'll explain momentarily. The company also included a free gift.
ASSEMBLY: Install was pretty straight forward, however, I could see a complete novice in this arena becoming frustrated and possibly messing up the job. With that said, I took part of the day installing mine. Not because it was difficult but simply because I put in the extra time to ensure wiring was run properly, securely and safely and making sure to use as many of the vehicles OEM components in the process. I think the best part of the install was the fact that these lights almost perfectly fit the OEM fog light bracket in the lower bumper fairing (photo included). The wiring harness also comes with a built-in fuse. One thing that was a bit disappointing to me was the switch wiring harness; the switch itself is rectangular which basically means I had to custom drill/shape a hole to fit the switch. Thank goodness for my dremel tool and bits. Another item worth mentioning; these lights are approximately a 1/4" smaller in diameter than the OEM fog lights.
OPERATION: Once installed the operation of the product is simple and straight forward. There's one 3-position (on-off-on) rocker switch. This of course means you can only have on one of the lights/functions at a time. I've included a video showing the two modes the lights operate in; Either straight white light fog light mode, or in the more unique blue halo/angel eye mode.
CONSTRUCTION: The lights are hardened glass with a aluminum metal backing. Each wire lead is outfitted with a small rubber boot to assist in keeping moisture out of the light fixture and off the wire connections.
SUMMARY: That's about it folks:-) They've been installed now for a few days and I'm extremely happy with the finished product. I think they look great!!!:-) Hope this review is helpful.
