With Fox&Summit gone out of business, Wi-Fi is no longer an option unless you know a firmware it could move over to. I do not know of one at this time.
Alerts are local and audible through the built-in chime to alert you when you are home. Could be used in the workplace as well to alert you to someone coming in or opening a door, window, or other objects within your hearing distance of the audible alarm.
Could also be placed on windows as a deterrent to someone considering breaking in by simply having them in place at entry locations.
The vibration sensor ran on WiFi, so you did not need to worry about whether you had to purchase a hub or other gateway for it to work. You owned the connection hardware already—it was your WiFi router. Unfortunately, that is no longer an option.

You buy, you pay, I ship no later than the following business day. This is because our local post office is only open until Noon, so if I receive payment prior to around 10:00 AM CT, then I will print and ship that same day as I go to the post office around 10:00 AM each morning. Payment may be through PayPal and Credit Cards can be accepted through PayPal as well. I will also accept USPS Money Orders, or payment upon pickup should someone like to contact me for doing so.

Anything not as described or any new item which is malfunctioning and not know at the time listing was created. Outside of that I will accept a return at the buyer's responsibility for shipping item back to me and I will deduct the shipping from the refund as well for such circumstances.
