<p>Original 1943 electrical trade vintage ad for <b><span style="font-size: 14px;">STACKPOLE CARBON COMPANY.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></b>Main office and plant was located in St. Marys, PA.</p><p> Manufacturers of Molded Metal Contacts. </p><p>The First Silver-Graphite Contact ever molded from powders, was a Stackpole product.</p><p>Almost two decades have passed since Stackpole revolutionized circuit breaker and control equipment performance by producing a molded silver-graphite contact, at the suggestion of Westinghouse engineers, which enabled a 50 ampere continuous-rated unit to handle 5,000 amperes on a short circuit.</p><p>Unbound from a 1943 electrical engineering magazine, this unique old one-page advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed. Nice graphics.&nbsp;World War 2 propaganda. A fabulous addition to your retro electrical library.<br></p>
