Plant will be shipped soil less with roots wrapped in wet media during it's dormancy. After they break their dormancy in June - they will be potted in soil and will be shipped in small plastic container with soil.

Soil / Climate: Prefers shaded areas in woodland or wet areas. Prefers moist, slightly acidic soils and require regular watering, but are adaptable to many conditions. Pawpaw grows in humid climates and are frost tolerant.
Notes: pear shaped alternate leaves with whitish hair on the upper surface and rusty red on the lower are aromatic (smell similar to bell pepper). Green flowers that turn to dark purple or maroon. Fruit is yellowish green to brown, cylindrical, and mango-shaped. Pawpaw fruit is usually 7-16 cm long and grow singly or grouped 2 or 4 together. The 5 to 16 ounce fruits usually ripen between August and October and have a thin skin containing a yellow custard-like pulp that tastes similar to papaya. Paw paw fruits contain several flat 2 cm long seeds. Fall foliage is bright yellow.
