More than a church community fundraiser recipe book cookbook, it is a complete household digest compiled by the Centenary Methodist Church, 8th & Willow Sts, Lebanon, PA Pennsylvania. Appropriately titled Variety Fair - A Household Digest, cookbook is printed by Community Services Inc #3668-12, is dated 1948 and measures approx 5-3/4”x 8-3/4” with 64 household & cookery hints/tips pages + 16 recipe pages (38 named contributors) + 11 pages of 42 local advertising. Some drawn illustrations, no Table of Contents or Index. Cookbook is unique and full of personality … the typed-format recipes are timeless and the hints/tips are helpful, even today, … 70 years later!

Condition: Covers & Pages are Good. I checked EVERY page to enter all the names! (I include ALL names in ALL fundraiser-type cookbooks because I know how frustrating it is to hope and wonder if specific contributors/recipes are included in a book, only to find out they’re not, upon receipt.) Covers and pages are attached to easy-turning plastic spiral binding with no missing pages, clean (except for couple light smudges on front cover) with no tears or chips, no highlighting, no writing ... minimal edge/corner wear & not-bad age toning to outer edge areas of some pages. Books are NOT from smoke-free or pet-free environment. Please see above NINE supersized images ... they are part of the Email with questions or requests.

    I also strive for quality packing of your purchase, but do contact me If you would like to purchase insurance (non-Priority insurance is optional) on non-Priority items, but please request BEFORE paying so I adjust invoice accordingly. (Insurance is automatically included for up to $50 for Priority shipments.) If item is insured, but was received damaged, it is imperative to keep ALL SHIPPING MATERIALS should you need to make an insurance claim. All parcels include a tracking number, and you will be emailed that number upon shipment, so we both can monitor its journey to you. Please notify me if your item is not received.

    These books/items are not new unless specified new … they are retro or vintage, and some may come with wear and/or smells. I go to extremes, perhaps, detailing each item attributes and flaws, if any. And I especially include SMOKE and PET clauses in all descriptions, so please don't email me asking if it smells of smoke because you may be able to smell better than I do.
