I have tested out the live tv application service GEARS TV! . Gears TV IS NECESSARY if you want a high end package such as Sunday ticket. Sunday ticket is hard to stream on any firestick from any seller without a gears tv or a similar steaming app.

Gears TV has better quality and have more premium viewing options.



Save more of your hard earned dollars than the ultra expensive professional sports packages that drain your bank account! Pro Sport, Made In Canada, Vortex, Bob, and Sports devil are the key sports apps, but one should consider getting Gears TV ( premium app) for better viewing quality and more viewing variety.

Requirements:

1.These add ons are all run on servers and these servers are constantly bombarded by users which does tend to slow down the most watched streams!



2.Paying for faster internet speeds and buying a good router( netgear preferred around $100) is highly recommended and preferred! If you get download speeds of 10 to 15 mbps you will struggle with some of the hd streams!

3.Conduct a test via speedtest.net to see how your internet speed measures upI do not recommend this product for internet download speeds of lower than 10 to 15mbpsI highly recommend higher download internet speeds, ideally of 20 mbps or higher.

4.The more devices connected to your wifi the faster the internet speed you need

5.You will need faster internet speeds if you are a heavy online gamer. No returns if one does not check their internet speed and the device does not work due to slow internet

The add ons are run by third parties and can/do occasionally go down. For example on some of the add ons I can watch pbs, but on other addons the stream links for pbs do not work. There will always be some streams that do not work or are not as good as some of the others. New add ons are constantly being created and updated on a weekly/monthly basis! Some of the older add ons may not work anymore and go down as developers work on them or stop working on them altogether. I recommend keeping current with new add ons on a monthly basis via YouTube! The add ons are comparable to downloading free and paid applications to your iphone/smartphone through the app store.You will need your wifi password to connect the fire tv stick to the internet! You will need a free account to pay for Netflix and Sling TV and a paid subscription to Prime Content. Let me know if you do not want XXX apps on your firestick!
