Here I am offering Seeds from Hibiscus syriacus Violet Satin also known as Rose of Sharon and Shrub Althea. This plant likes to live in full sun where it burst with gorgeous blossoms of lavender blue and violet from the middle of Summer until early Fall. The flowers leaves and roots are edible and are normally found in salads or used as vegetables. The leaves can also be dried and used to make a tea. The younger the leaves and flowers the more tender they are. The roots are fiberous and lacking much flavor but if you know how to season things it can be delicious.
