Here is how to get rid of them and get to decorating, STAT: 

1. First, soak all the tips, as well as the coupler, in warm soap water, for 5-10 minutes. With a damp cloth, remove all internal residues. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, let them air dry or dry with a paper towel. 
2. For a second time, wash them with dishwash detergent, or add them in your dishwasher, rinse let them air dry.
