PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Pond Kleen is a shelf stable, dry formulation of facultative aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, enzymes and surfactants effective for the digestion and liquefaction of organic wastes found in small lakes and decorative landscape ponds.
MODE OF ACTION: When placed in pond water, the Pond Kleen bacteria and enzymes begin working on the various organic matter substrates. The bacteria are saprophytic, only consuming dead organic wastes. The various enzymes work on the organic matter components and break them down for easier digestion by the bacteria. By using hydrolytic enzymes, not only are the wastes broken down into smaller molecules but, they are also kept in suspension in the water for more efficient metabolization by bacteria.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION: Pond Kleen is applied at the rate of one pound per 100,000 gallons of water (or about 3 lbs. per acre-foot). The application should be made at monthly intervals during the season. An initial purge application at double or triple the regular rate may be useful to accelerate the bioaugmentation process.
APPLICATION METHOD: Pond Kleen may be applied anytime the water temperature is in the 60° F to 100° F range. For application, the dry material may be broadcast by hand or mixed in water (mix 3 lbs. dry
product in 5 gal. of water) and poured into the pond. The dry product should not be mixed with water and sprayed, due to the possibility of plugging spray nozzles.

Return Policy.
A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be obtained from customer service (1-239-357-1853). Products must be unused and in their original cartons. No discontinued or obsolete items will be accepted. For safety reasons, no returns can be accepted on HEPA items. Customer pays return freight charges and 15% restocking fee, except when return is due to freight damage. We reserves the right to refuse any return not in compliance with the above.
