A Realborn is a Real Baby Replica, created directly from computer photometric scans of a precious real newborn baby. Virtually every sweet baby fold, wrinkle and crease of the head, ears, eyes, nose, fingers, feet and toes are captured with this technology. Then small details are carefully checked to assure the detail will transfer over beautifully into the vinyl. Then a 3D prototype is created using one of the highest resolutions 3D printers on the market today. From the 3D prototype print the molds for the most perfect reborn artist's canvas (the Realborn vinyl doll parts) are created.
Each Realborn comes with a signed and numbered certificate, signed by the master artist Denise Pratt. This certificate has a picture of the real baby and actual footprints, created from scans of the real baby.
Baby George is a beautiful lifelike baby with 3/4 arms and full legs.
He has a soft, flesh colored high quality doe-suede body with jointed arms and legs. He has micro rooted hair that is sealed from the inside so it can be gently dampened and styled.
He has true to life skin tones from the many delicate layers of Genesis heat set paints. He has tiny veins on hands, wrists, ankles, arms, legs, forehead and temples. Each little wrinkle and crease has been highlighted. He has barely there baby eyebrows. The paint is baked into the vinyl, so it will not fade or rub off. I opened the nostrils, shaded them and backed them with felt for realism.
Georgie has rooted eyelashes for more lifelike features.
Baby is weighted perfectly in all the right places using tiny glass beads and premium poly-fill.
