The JUBILEE COOKBOOK is a celebration of 75 years of shared worship at Highland Park United Methodist Church. The church was organized in 1916 on the Southern Methodist University campus. Today it stands adjacent to the southwest corner of the campus. The United Methodist Women of HPUMC proudly present the JUBILEE COOKBOOK with more than 450 recipes both old and new, family graces and historical sketches. This commemorative cookbook is a reflection of our heritage of prayer, our joy in our beautiful church, and our many treasured recipes. We celebrate the nurturing of one generation for another and the opportunity for outreach to all people. We therefore dedicate the JUBILEE COOKBOOK to the support of Dallas Bethlehem Center, a ministry of the United Methodist Church. For 40 years, the DBC has served the needs for quality child care, youth recreation and development, and a wide range of community services in the South Dallas Community. DBC is related to the National Division of the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries with the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church as its support base.
