Let’s Celebrate Great Food.
When we first came up with the idea to create a special issue of food & family to celebrate our fifth anniversary, I wonder, “How will we do it? How will we choose our very best recipes?” That’s because there are so many recipes we all love. Some we love because they’re speedy weeknight favorites that are familiar hits with your families and our own. Others we love because they’re deceptively delicious—so full of flavor you’d never know they’re good for you. And of course, like you, we’re crazy about those easy entertaining recipes—especially the showstopper desserts. You told us they’re so simple and hassle-free, they inspire you to host gatherings of family and friends at the drop of a hat. With so much to love, it wasn’t easy narrowing the list down to 50 of our very best recipes. But we did it! And we’ve corralled them all for you in a keepsake collector’s edition, our first ever. Throughout this issue, I and other members of the Kraft Kitchens team tell you exactly why we love each recipe, many of which are our favorite because you love them, too. So, however you define “the best,” we know there’s lots here for you to celebrate and enjoy—time and time again. Joanne McClure Hoff
