This pin appears to be a remembrance piece for the tragedy that occured on 9-11-2001, as there is lettering on the back which reads United We Stand Remember 9-11-2001.
It is beautiful and would be perfect for the fourth of July.
This pin is extremely attractive and well done.
The enamel colors are bright and vibant and the sparkles in the flag strips add a very nice touch.
The red color is a beautiful bright red. That color does not look color true in the photographs on my monitor, it looks much lighter than it actually is.
There is even an eagle on top of the flag pole.
On the back of the pin is stamped Monet, and the words: United We Stand Remember 9-11-2001.
The pin measures approximately 2.25 inches long, measuring along the side edge of the flagpole, and slightly over 1.25 inches wide at it's widest part.
The pin is made of enamel on gold toned metal.
