This auction is for a white iodine kit, which includes the following;
50ml of 12% strength white iodine, not the usual small 10/15ml on offer from other sellers!
15ml glass bottle with brush, standard ‘nail varnish’ bottle
Mini funnel for easy refilling; fits perfectly into the ‘nail varnish’ bottle for easy refilling from the stock solution.
I am an industrial formulation chemist by trade and have derived a pure grade of 12% white iodine which uses pharmaceutical grade potassium iodide and pure distilled water as the only ingredients. There are no chemical preservatives or additives.
The composition in this auction has been classed, by the MHRA (Medicines for Human Use) Regulation 1994 (S.I.1994/3144), as a food supplement.
Uses
Nail Treatment –
White Iodine has been shown to improve brittle, weak fingernails.
Directions for use: Take the glass bottle with brush and apply to the tip of the nail only, underside and topside. Do not apply to the base of the nail. An improvement in nail strength should be seen after 2 weeks.
Hair Loss –
The white iodine treatment can be used a topical treatment for Alopecia Areata (AA) and natural hair loss.
Directions for use: Take the 50ml stock bottle solution and soak a pice of cotton wool. Apply to the problem area and repeat every day. An improvement should be seen after 4 weeks.
First Aid Treatment -
As with oxidation state zero free iodine, white iodine (oxidation state -1) can also be used as an antiseptic when applied topically.
Directions for use: Moisten a piece of cotton wool with the 50ml stock solution and apply to cuts and burns as an antiseptic.
