This warm hue was the newest addition to the family of Fenton pinks, which began in the 1920s and continued until 2007. An expensive rare-earth element called Erbium exported from Sweden, is the secret behind this lovely color. This is a very large piece of glass for Fenton...it is not a comport as the picture might lead you to believe it is...comport's usually have a small diam. This is a bowl with about 8-1/4 inches diam. measurement across the top. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. I have the original box for this piece which is always welcomed. Made for production year 2007, it is now retired and not available through Fenton any longer. The last one I now have also...the pictures shown will be the one you will receive.
