"BLYTHE POND" # 6508-0
Circa 1986-1990 ONLY
This building was produced two different ways. This is the INCORRECT version rather than the CORRECT version. But, unlike most incorrect pieces. this one is more common than the correct version is. The BY THE POND is imprinted on the bottom whereas it should have been BLYTHE POND. Box and sleeve are intact, however all DP56 items are bought 2nd hand and there can be minor marks, rips, etc on sleeves. This box is in very good condition with little shelf worn edges or any small rip which is nice to find. Please review pictures. There could be also, of course, factory flaws but nothing I see that is unusual to what Department 56 did back in the early years other than what I have mentioned earlier.
