Fenton 7-1/2" Basket

If my memory serves me correctly, the mold on this basket was referred to as a HAT BASKET. The bottom (without the handles) if turned upside down resembles a top hat is why. But I could be wrong. The bottom is paneled also being 6 sided.
This item was only in the line for one year, in 2002, and it was retired not to return again. It is hard to come by actually and if you are a collector, I surely wouldn't wait too long before snatching this one up. It measures about 7-3/4 inches tall and is about 4-5/8 inches wide, and about 4 inches deep This is a model number 9035SQ. There is no original Fenton box for this piece. It is decorated and signed by the artist at the Fenton factory who decorated it....which is Corbin Wind. The initials you see are those of the person who applied the GOLD to the decoration after Corbin was done with his part. Because the decorator was using real gold, the amount of gold they were given was measured and the decorator was responsible if it appeared some was missing. That is why they had one decorator do the decoration and another use the gold. This basket was made in Williamstown West Virginia---USA. (store use: Tub3)
