Fenton 6" Hexagonal Shaped, Footed Vase

'Silvercrest' is the longest running glassware line that Fenton made. It started in the late 1930s and continued into 1999 in one shape or form. This vase was made from about the 1940's and might have been the sample for Ruby Silvercrest that was produced for Jay Wilfred in, I thought, the mid 1940s. However, some books make reference to the fact that this glass was made before 1941. Honestly, I think it was in the mid 1940s. The coloring of the milk glass is what is referred to as SKIM MILK rather than WHOLE MILK. It is about 6 inches tall, PIE CRIMPED top and six sided (hexagonal). There are no chips-cracks or repairs, however there is a factory 2 small rough areas inside the vase itself. I don't think they are bubbles but minor gouges in the glass caused from the plunger at the time of production but they may also be bubble burst....I can't tell. These types of factory flaws are common on items that were "sampled" to see if they could do this type of work and if it looked ok and they thought they could sell it well in other colors.
