Fenton "Aurora" Bell
"IRIS on MISTY BLUE"
Circa: 1997-1998
I remember this pattern when I had my store front shop in St. Paul and it was a very difficult series to keep in stock all the time. It seemed like I was reordering all the time when this was new. But of course, this is not new now and is long since retired. Iris on Misty Blue was a Martha Reynolds designed piece. It has a cool refreshing blue like water look; reflective and refractive. The glass is satin iridescent blue.
The actual size of this bell is about 7 inches tall, 3-1/2+ inches wide at the bottom. It is decorated and signed by S. Stephens, a known decorator at the Fenton Factory. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, however please keep in mind that this is NOT new and has been displayed in another's home. Also, I have pointed out that there is a bubble in the handle of this piece. I think the picture makes it look a lot larger and more obtrusive than it really is however. There is no original box for this item. (store use: Tub3)
