This piece is coming from our private collection, because we are getting our house ready to sell and hope to move into a senior citizens center in the near future. Hence, we will not have the space to store these type of items any longer. Because we know the history of this piece, I can tell you that we bought it NEW and it was displayed only twice time in all these years.
This piece was made for just this one year, 1995-1999 and was the first LIGHT UP piece made in this series along with two other pieces that year. You can use it as a night light, however, I think it was made to light up a series when all displayed that had no lighting to this point. The box shown is in what I would consider OK to POOR condition however, it shows poor storage on our part over these years. It was stored in a humid section and hence the damage done to the box with wrinkling and paint cracks all around (to the box only). The front also has a rip in the middle on the front at the near top. I have seen much worse.
There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to this piece. One of the pictures of the back of the piece shows what looks like a big chip out of the back of the wagon. This is NOT a chip but rather a cut out area for where the electrical cord comes from underneath the piece.
This is a large piece, measuring about 6-1/2 inches tall and about 7-1/2 inches wide. It comes with a working light cord, the mini pink catalog (which is about 2-1/2 inches by 1-3/4 inches), as well as the small oval string description tag.
Unfortunately, I do have to make mention (though most people would know and understand this) that the display pieces like the Easter Eggs, Floral arrangements, and the brown walk way shown in the pictures ARE NOT INCLUDED in this sale.
