This is truly a fabulous jacket, with just some minor wear and color loss that would benefit from being touched up with leather polish.
The leather is not dried out, and is thick and supple.
This jacket is older and made in the USA, before this jacket was made overseas.
From the reviews that I read on the site, the current jacket which is being made overseas is definitely inferior to this one. The current jacket lining is 70% wool and 30% acrylic. This jacket has a lining that is 100% wool.
The sleeves do not have shearling lining; they have a silky lining with some insulation in it.
The collar on this jacket is also shearling.
The collar is a snap down collar.
There is a leather hanging loop on the jacket.
This jacket does not appear to have been worn that much, however there are some minor wear spots and scuffs on the exterior leather that have color loss and would benefit from being touched up with a good leather polish.
Each of the sleeves has some minor wear to the leather.
One of the front pockets has some wear on the leather covering the snap as well as a few scuffs on it.
One of the shoulders has some wear and color loss on it.
There is some minor pilling on the knitted cuff areas, as can be seen in the photos.
