Recipe book measures approx 7-3/8”x 8-5/8” with 131 pages, no index but additional hints/tips pages and blank pages after each category chapter on which to write recipes. No copyright or publication date, but based on the inscription dated 1985, I’m assuming this book is from the 1980s. Cookbook is full of typed-format recipes, illustrated drawings on each food category title page of recipes contained, no local advertising filler, and with approx 109 different contributors, you KNOW there is a good variety of MANY good recipes!

SAMPLE RECIPES:
Cabbage Casserole
1 medium size cabbage head
1 can tomato soup
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 medium onion, diced
1 lb ground beef
Into a large casserole shred cabbage, not too fine. Add salt and pepper. Next empty into a mixing bowl the tomato and cream of mushroom soups. Mix thoroughly and pour over cabbage, adding diced onion and ground beef. Smooth it out as a sort of cover. The casserole should be about 3/4 full. Cover with heavy foil, pressing it firmly around the casserole like a tight seal. Be sure seal is tight so the steam drops back into the casserole without losing any of the flavor. Bake at 350-degrees for about 2 hours.

Condition: Good ... and I checked EVERY page to enter all the names! (I include ALL names in ALL fundraiser-type cookbooks because I know how frustrating it is to hope and wonder if specific contributors are included in a book, only to find out they’re not, upon receipt.) Cardstock covers and pages are mostly clean, tight to plastic spiral binding, no tears, no chips, no dog-ears or creases, minimal cover edge wear, all pages intact, no defective spirals. Only writing is penned inscription inside front cover corner (see image), the name Blanche (another name I can’t make out) and Dec 1985. There are only two small droplets, page 50, on Contributors Names Estelle Byrum and Ruth Ann Felton for the Southern Strawberry Pie recipe (see image) and page 106 on Layered Salad Deluxe recipe by Ruth Ann Felton (see image), and a couple on covers. Can’t tell if covers are lightly age-toned or if covers are intended to look textured? Cover/gutter shadow is from scanner, not on item. Books are NOT from smoke-free or pet-free environment.
