Natural African Cabochan Ruby gemstone

This is an African Cabochan Ruby that I bought at the Chantaburi gem market in Thailand. It is marron red in color. Inclusions are not that visible to the eye under normal light and a nice feature of the stone is that it has a slight star the follows along the surface. Would be suitable for a silver pendant perhaps or would be good as metaphysical stone for collection. The color is probably a bit too dark for and lacks the fine transparency for a gold setting. I was going to have a silver pendant made from it but never got to it. I'm selling it for about what I paid for it.
