This is a natural Quartz Crystal Necklace from Bankok Thailand that I got last time I was there. It was hand woven by a guy on Kowsan road and I knew someone would love to have it. The clear Quartz stone has inside a neat looking mineral area with some moss on it. These got trapped in the Quartz as it was forming thousands or millions of years ago. I have named the piece Moss Island because that is what it looks like.
The necklace string consists of a strong woven fiber. The string has a very slight waxy feel to it as the braider needed to apply wax to it when making it. He said water would not hurt it so if desired some light soapy washing should removed it if desired. It closes with a small coconut shell button clasp.
Quartz is know to be a mineral that is very cleansing of the energies around it. It is thought to help cleans one energy field and help one tap into intuitive information.
