A box-office smash during the late 1960s and early 1970s, the popular BILLY JACK movies featured Tom Laughlin--who also penned the scripts--as a half-Indian former Green Beret who despises the violence of the white man's world. Truly controversial at the time, the movies espouse 60s-style politics of peace and love, pitting the natural spirituality of the Indian and artist communities against the corruption and greed of the mainstream world. In BORN LOSERS, Billy Jack is introduced as the epitome of cool, fighting a California biker gang and falling for the beautiful girl he is protecting. The other films in the collection include BILLY JACK, THE TRIAL OF BILLY JACK, and BILLY JACK GOES TO WASHINGTON, all of which feature the hip title character righting wrongs with finesse.
