"Can only give an overview of each singer's life, but at least one gets a taste of the biography and the artistic accomplishments of both musicians. The picture has no flaws to speak of. Many contemporary performers are shown playing Guthrie's or Leadbelly's songs, in a stereo that has the fullness one longs for on Bound for Glory. The disc ends with a composite performance of "This Land Is Your Land."
This is a LASERDISC, not a DVD. Priced inexpensively because I have not played it, although the one previous owner played all laserdiscs I've listed in the way it should be: gingerly.
