Offered today from my personal collection of late 1800`s - early 1900`s era fashion photography is a neat Cabinet card photo of a very pretty young lady in beautiful plaid dress with puff sleeves & lots of buttons down the front! Photo is in Vignette style and she wears a choker with a beautiful pearl & precious stone pin at throat. She has curly brown hair tied back in a bun & she proudly wears her glasses. Woman back in the 1800`s rarely wore their glasses for photos as they were a bit shy about appearing in photos with glasses. This young lass must have been very smart & strong willed & wanted all to know it! My type of woman for sure & she is a cutie! Photo is mounted on hard board and very sharp. Photo studio info at bottom and this was from Rice Studio from Washington, D.C. Studio art graphics are on the back side and are fantastic. You can see lots of flowers & leaves and even several winged insects! A great Cabinet card in wonderful condition with just some slight age staining on frame from handling!
