On Hold Kensington Staffordshire Ironstone 1/4 lb Butter Dish

Welcome To Collectable-tyme Estate Sales

This is a nice large butter dish made in England, and hand crafted. I placed two sticks of butter 4 oz each, and they fit just fine. The backstamp is brown in color with a ribbon banner, and a knotted rope shaped like a prezel in the middle of a shield. It has a brown painted line near the edge on the bottom part, with the brown around the top knob of the top piece. They are embossed nicely, and will serve you for many years to come.

I am not sure when it was produced, but appears to be around the 1970's-1980's.

Condition: It is in new condition without any scratches, chips, cracks, discoloration, or repairs.

Measurements: It is 10 3/4" long x 5 5/8" wide x 3 1/2" high.

Actual weight before packing is 1 lb 7.7 oz. It will ship at 2.8 lbs.

I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.

The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.

If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down. All international customers must contact me for a shipping quote.

After an item has been paid for it will be shipped out within two business days. There is a small handing fee to help pay for the packing materials and fuel to go to the post office.

I have a hundred or so of china yet to list. Stay in touch to see my unique collection. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
