This is a very nice cup and saucer made in England called Duchess with floral sprays of narcissus. They are made of Bone China. The cup and saucer has the narcissus flowers on two sides. There is gold trimming on the top edge, foot, and two areas on the handle of the cup. The saucer has gold trim on the edge. Both are lightly scalloped on the edges. The clear glaze is outstanding.
It was made by A.T. Finney & Sons (LTD) Longton, Staffordshire, England. 1961-present.
Condition: It is in new condition with so very little gold wear, and not noticeable. It can only be seen on very close inspection. They are nearly in mint condition.
Measurements: The cup is 2 7/8" high x 3 7/16" across the top not including the handle. Saucer is 5 9/16" across x 11/16" high.
Actual weight before packing is 9.3 oz. It will ship at 1.8 lbs.
I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.
The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
If insurance is not added to this order I cannot be responsible for damaged or lost items. You will recieve delivery confirmation. I use USPS for shipping and will use Parcel post for this item. This will help to keep the shipping charges down.
