This ACEO print is from my original watercolor titled "A Good Fortune Toast to Mead."
Most of my prints come with a small story, written at the time the original artwork is created. This is printed on the backs of the cards, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed and hand numbered. This is #4 and is an open edition.
The story for this artwork reads: "These busy bees approve of this Neko's favorite pass time, which is enjoying a sip of fine mead from his Lucky Golden Horn. Seated in a field of fragrant clovers upon his comfy gold pillow, this lucky honey wine loving kitty is as content as he can be."
This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors.
This card was printed with a color laser printer on acid free cover stock. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
