This ACEO print is created from my original painting titled "Good Luck & Autumn Moonlight" depicting a lucky black cat in an autumn tree with a full moon gracing the night sky.
Most of my prints come with a small story written at the time the original piece was created. Artwork information is printed on the back of the card, along with the title of the piece and date it was created. They are hand signed and hand numbered - This is card #5 and is an open edition.
The description for this artwork reads: "This autumn night is calm, no evil spirits are lurking about. This lucky Black Cat, with paw raised, takes a sentinel watch in a colorful autumn tree as the Full Moon contemplates the sereneness of the scene."
This ACEO (which stands for Art Cards, Editions & Originals) measures the standard 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is laminated. These cards are in no way mass produced, they are printed, hand trimmed, and laminated by myself in small numbers. I choose to laminate cards which are prints and don't include any hand enhancing or painting as it makes them far more durable, increasing their longevity, and enriches the colors. The ghosted watermark does not appear on the actual print.
