This lovely Beaded Drapes footed bowl is 8 inches across and 3 inches tall. Northwood made this pattern in 1904. This is a beautiful piece - the opalescence is very heavy and extends for about 2 1/2 inches around all sides. In the center is blue glass. It has 4 lovely little feet. The pattern of the exterior mold is so distinct and visible - truly an excellent example of American glassware.
I do note a production flaw: there is a little piece of cranberry colored glass imbedded in the surface. It appears that it is a piece of cranberry frit - perhaps a craftsman was applying frit nearby! I actually think this is quite a cool and unusual flaw. This is visible in photo 3.
There is a tiny chip on one of the feet. It is very small and doesn't affect the way the piece sits. This chip is the reason for the low price on this astounding piece.
Aside from the chip, this piece is in excellent condition. I check my items visually and I feel them with my fingers to check for damage.

I have been a dealer of antique and collectable glass for over 10 years locally at antique malls and online. I am experienced and identify my items with care. I will describe them to the best of my ability with condition noted. I have never had a buyer complaint. Locally I've had the same customers for years and sell special pieces to other dealers.
