This beautiful card tray was whimsied from a spooner. Which means a creative craftsman over 100 years ago took glass from a spooner mold and pulled the glass and shaped each little point and made this excellent card tray. It is done in white opalescence and has 4 little feet just like the spooners. It is about 3 inches tall and a little over 6 1/2 inches across.
The base is a clear glass and then there is white opalescence as you approach the edges. This piece has A LOT of opalescence on it and is quite stunning.
As with any 100+ year old piece of glass, you may find bubbles, tiny bits of ash, straw marks, or slightly rough feet because glass didn't come out of molds as smoothly in this time period.
There is a bit of roughness around the feet, but there aren't any flaws that detract from the beauty or value of this lovely piece.
This card tray is in excellent condition with no damage. I inspect my items visually and I feel over them with my fingers to check for chips or other damage.

I have been a dealer of antique and collectable glass for over 10 years locally at antique malls and online. I am experienced and identify my items with care. I will describe them to the best of my ability with condition noted. I have never had a buyer complaint. Locally I've had the same customers for years and sell special pieces to other dealers.
